News from Aurora, Oregon (Oops,
reporting from the road in Butte, Montana!)
Travis and John are on the road, headed
for Oshkosh. We look forward to seeing you at AirVenture 2005.
*
As we mentioned last week in the newsletter, the ChartCase
Professional new feature set is announced;
* In-Cockpit Weather data provided by
XM/WX and WxWorx receivers
* All new Virtual Instrument panel
* "TAWS" terrain awareness including published Obstructions
with tremendous resolution and granularity, and
* "HITS" Highway-In-The-Sky 3d flight profile rendering.
* All new user InFlight interface eases use in the cockpit
While en-route, Travis is verifying the
usability for the new User Interface. That is no easy trick if
you've driven the roads in the Idaho and Montana mountains. He
said the larger buttons make it easier to navigate the screens even
through John's driving and the "terrain-based turbulence." We are
tracking the weather using our WxWorx Bluetooth receiver to display the
XM/WX weather en-route.
We will demonstrate all the new features to
you at the AirVenture show.
We'll publish the booth number in a Special Oshkosh edition
newsletter next Friday. Watch for it!
* Last issue, we announced a new pricing structure will be rolled
out at AirVenture. There will be a price increase on July 25th, 2005,
the first day of the show, for new purchases. However, our unique
Customer-Reward program permits you to renew your subscription at
the same low cost as when you acquired your service. Yes, you receive
all the new features we add to your product at no additional cost
along with bug fixes and minor enhancements to improve usability. If
you are considering upgrading your subscription to get the new features,
we recommend you lock in your savings and
order now.
* New pricing beginning July 25th:
$149.95 FlightPrep Online Flight Planner
$349.95 ChartCase EFB
$499.95 ChartCase Professional
Ok, this is last call. Place your
order before the price increase to lock-in your purchase price.
Remember, your purchase price is also your renewal rate for the second
and following years.
As always, if you have any questions or if we can help you, drop us a
line or give us a call. Our contact info is at the bottom of this
message. Thanks for reading our newsletter! Your editor, John Bouyea
