solid-state data storage. An integral internal GPS with an
external antenna feeds position information into the installed
ChartCase software. Completely torture-tested at 140° F for
hours at a time, the X650 runs cool with an integral fan. The
X650 has completed FCC, UL & ROHS testing.
A robust hardware platform built for
installation with the FAA approval of "removable" equipment in
mind, the X650 is for all aircraft (yes, even us guys flying the
certificated aircraft), placing the X650 is in a category by
itself. Two mounting options are available; your choice of an
optional avionics tray that fits into standard avionics-width
racks or if your panel is already full, the popular RAM mounting
system allows you to place the X650 anywhere that works for you.
