FlightPrep Applications and Windows 7 Compatibility

If you run Golden Eagle software or ChartCase software and do not run Baron Weather you DO NOT need to follow the instructions below! Windows 7 works with your Windows 7 PC without any changes!

Microsoft's newest operating system, Windows 7, has taken some of the changes seen in Windows Vista and greatly improved upon them. Security is improved beyond any Windows Operating System offered in the past but not at the cost of performance as was the case with Vista. As a result only 1 special setting is needed in Windows 7 to fully run FlightPrep software and that change is only required if you run Baron Weather with ChartCase software. Please follow the instructions below if you do in fact run Baron Weather on your Windows 7 PC to ensure that your receiver and software work correctly. Again, if you run Golden Eagle software or ChartCase software and do not run Baron Weather you DO NOT need to follow the instructions below!
